Goals

Education and dissemination of knowledge: organize educational seminars, trainings, classes, and meetings aimed at raising awareness of Ukrainian culture and its contribution to world heritage.

Advocacy and support: provide support for newly arrived Ukrainians in adapting to American society, helping them overcome cultural differences, and integrate into a new environment.

Cultural dialogue: to promote dialogue between the Ukrainian and American communities, helping each side to better understand and appreciate the cultural characteristics of the other.

Preservation of cultural heritage: to support and preserve Ukrainian culture, traditions, and language in the context of cultural diversity, ensuring an identifiable belonging for future generations.

Community support: create and support networks of cooperation between Ukrainian and American organizations working in the fields of culture, education, and social support.

Cross-cultural enrichment: show the value and usefulness of Ukrainian culture for American society, emphasizing the shared values and strengths of both cultures.

MISSION

The Educational and Cultural Ukrainian-American League exists to strengthen cultural and educational ties between Ukrainian and American communities and to spread knowledge about, advocate for, and promote a deeper understanding of Ukrainian culture in American society.

VISION

Our vision is to create a harmonious and mutually enriching cultural dialogue between Ukrainians and Americans, where cultural differences become bridges, not obstacles. We strive for a community in which both cultures are recognized, respected, and supported, contributing to the enrichment of both Ukrainian and American cultural heritage.
